The Woodshed is an intimate concert space created for music-lovers of all ages and interests to listen, to play, to sing along and love every moment.
This space was imagined by chef/owner Jimmy Gibson. An avid music lover, multi-instrumentalist and proud Dead Head, Jimmy wanted to create a space to share his passion for music and live performances.
The venue name is a reference to the phrase “going to the woodshed” that musicians use when they are practicing and perfecting their craft. He also chose this name to honor Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir. Weir’s daughter once shared with The Gibsons that her famous dad loved to say he was going to practice in the woodshed.
