For specific accommodation requests, please contact our hospitality team at least 48 hours prior to your visit so we may best serve you.
Physical access
Our Chagrin Falls venue is designed for ease of access from arrival to departure. The main entrance is step-free, with an accessible route from the parking area through the front entrance and into all dining and event spaces.

Seating
The Hive offers a variety of accessible seating options to suit different needs. We maintain ADA-compliant seating throughout our main dining room and event spaces, with ample clearance for mobility devices.
When making a reservation, guests are encouraged to note any seating preferences or accessibility needs — we’ll do our best to accommodate requests in advance. Same-day requests are always welcome, and our hosts are happy to assist you to a suitable table upon arrival.

Service animals
Service animals are welcome throughout The Hive, including all dining areas, private event spaces, and outdoor seating. In accordance with ADA guidelines, we recognize trained service animals that assist guests with disabilities.
We ask that service animals remain under the handler’s control at all times. Our staff is trained to accommodate service animal teams courteously and without disruption to their dining or event experience. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted inside the venue under health code regulations.

Communication & sensory access
We want every guest to communicate and engage with our team comfortably. Our staff is trained to assist guests who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have low vision, and we are happy to adapt our communication approach to what works best for you.
Menus are available in large print upon request, and digital menus accessible via QR code are compatible with screen readers. For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, our team can communicate via written notes, and we welcome guests who prefer to use a communication app or device. Adequate lighting is maintained throughout the venue to support guests with low vision.

Emergency evacuation
The safety of every guest is our top priority. The Hive has a designated emergency evacuation plan that specifically accounts for guests with mobility limitations or other disabilities, and our staff are trained to assist with a calm, coordinated response.
Guests who may need evacuation assistance are encouraged to let a host or team member know upon arrival so we can identify the most accessible exit route in advance. Accessible egress paths are clearly marked throughout the venue. In the event of an emergency, designated staff members are assigned to assist guests who need help exiting the building safely.
